A world built around risk, reward, and survival.
The best loot sits in the most dangerous places — and it pulls everyone toward the same spots. Alliances form, rivalries explode, and no two runs are the same.
Leave the safe-zone with our group system and custom GUI.
Pick a sector on the map, squad up, choose your loadout, and deploy when ready.
Gather as much loot as possible and get out alive.
Nothing is yours until you extract with it. Extraction points are fixed locations everyone on the map already knows — so the way out is every bit as contested as the loot itself.
Event-based extractions that open up on the fly are something we're looking at for the near future.
Planning, teamwork, and bravery decide who makes it out. Every decision counts — only the strongest extract.
Happy looting, and good luck.
In Active Development
A full arsenal of custom weapons to fight your way in — and out. More guns are actively being made and added almost every update, alongside balance changes and gun modifications.
Servers designed alongside the mod, actively moderated by the team.
A handcrafted 8k×8k server map built for our intended gameplay experience. The playable zone currently covers about a quarter of it — actively worked on and expanded with updates.
A world dressed in original props and blocks you won't see anywhere else — with custom in-house tools that make decorating the world easier.
Built to populate the most core locations and fill the world with the relentless undead experience Minecraft players have been looking for.
Search, scavenge, and haul your finds back alive.
Traders are tied to your player level — new trades open up the longer you play. Survive and grind, and the better, more expensive stock unlocks.
Built in-house because we hate cheaters. We actively work to keep the fight — and the love of the game — fair for everyone.
Deploy in groups of up to 6 — or build an unlimited clan with a clan score that levels through killing Infected, looting, and completing trader quests in safezones.
Your level gates the trader shop — what you can buy and which crafting recipes you unlock. Level up by fighting the Infected, selling to traders, completing quests, crafting, and looting.
Start a clan, claim an abandoned location with room to build, and fortify it as a base of operations. Raid rivals, pull resources to grow your profit, and put crafting recipes to work on gear you can't get anywhere else.
Drive, haul loot, and lay down fire on the move. Cars are persistent in the world — leave one parked and undefended, and someone can steal it, or just rip the battery out.
Fixed exits everyone knows about, so getting out is as contested as the loot. Event-based extractions may open up on the fly in a future update.
Supply drops and active location events that pull everyone toward contested ground.
The best gear sits in the deadliest places. Weigh it. Then go.
We're PvPers and long-term hardcore gamers who wanted one thing that didn't exist: a proper zombie-survival PvPvE extraction shooter for the Minecraft enjoyer — and for ourselves.
Aberration is inspired by the old Decimation mod and games like Escape from Tarkov, DayZ, Dying Light, Rust, No More Room in Hell, and countless others like them — all compacted into the experience we wanted, built to share with everyone else.
It's been in up-and-down development since November 11th, 2023, and we're still here. Want to be part of it? Join the team or hang out with us on Discord.
Our development cycle is loose on purpose — we build what we think is cool and what's best for the mod. That means it swings between short sprints and long deep dives into big features or full overhauls, so updates vary: sometimes they land quickly, sometimes a quiet stretch means we're deep in something substantial. Suggestions are always welcome on Discord, but in the end we commit to what we want to build and play.
Stick around through active development and see what lands next: more guns, new parts of the map, cars, cosmetics, loot, objective locations, event-based extractions — and probably a few things we haven't thought of yet.
